best ice cream i've had in SA. my dad and i went and the server asked us if we had been there before and we hadent. he explained that it's all made in house and told us we could get samples. i tried the honey cornbread and banana pudding and chose the banana pudding ultimately (but the honey bread was sooo good) now two scoops was $7... but it was so amazing and not a small serving either. 10/10 will be back again
Amazing experience here at B+WMC! Delicious selection of house made ice creams, interesting flavors, and the most crispy waffle cone I've ever had! The fact that it's all around picture perfection is just a plus ! Love the small space, and appreciated the friendliest service! Owner was welcoming and gracious! WILL RETURN SOON!
Tried this place on a Friday evening and it was a great experience. The customer service was great, the ice cream was great, and we were able to sit outside in the nice weather. What more could you ask for? The nice man at the register did warn us that ordering the one scoop comes with basically two scoops, but we ordered two scoops anyway and it was way too much! Haha, we will definitely take his advice next time. He said the fan favorite is the oreo chocolate so I got that one and the turtle cheesecake. Both were amazing. My wife had the banana pudding and the andes mint. She loved it.
BEST ICE CREAM IN SAN ANTONIO PERIODDDDDD. Insane quality and texture. Honey cornbread is a MUSTTT try. The ratio of cornbread to ice cream was amazinggggggg, each bite was full of cornbread. Their strawberry flavor is made with fresh fruit and you can tell. Coffee toffee was also so good. The owner was so nice and encouraged us to try as many flavors as we wanted. Will def be going back! They also offer a discount for military, first responders, and medical professionals!
The ice cream is delicious! The worker said it's made in small batches there locally and was so proud of the work they do & was super friendly overall. We originally were eating at a restaurant nearby and didn't expect to get ice cream! Sure glad we looked around before going into the restaurant and decided we NEEDED to try it. I had the banana pudding and loved it. I was making jokes (or was it serious?) that I needed to order an entire tub. The inside is really cool looking & has some seating inside and out. There's also a bathroom inside the store.
Simply delicious. My wife and I visited San Antonio for Thanksgiving weekend and ate a bunch of great food, but Black+White is my highlight of the trip. I had a scoop of Circus Animal and Honey & Cornbread on a black cone (they had a Black Friday special of a free cone for 2 or 3 scoops). The ice cream is lighter than both Lick and Amy's, and everything we sampled was flavorful and balanced - well worth the price for a special treat. We will undoubtedly be back anytime we're in town!
I'm so glad I found this place! They offer such fun flavors that I haven't seen anywhere else. My friends and I were pretty indecisive, but the staff was kind enough to let us sample a few flavors and told us about their sampler box, which lets you try up to six different flavors. The guy helping us was really nice and even wrote down which flavor was which, so we'd remember our favorites for next time. The Ferrero Rocher was my favorite--no surprise, since it's my favorite candy. While seating inside is limited, there's a nice spot to sit outside. Overall, it's a great atmosphere, perfect for a small group of friends.

Cute small space with good flavors. Not for big groups to hangout. Perfect for an after date night dessert. They were really nice in letting you try samples - two of us tried two each. I really like their lavender milk tea ice cream. Sweet and not overly lavender-y. I would come back for that one. The other flavor I got was the honey cornbread. It paired really well with my other flavor and had little bits of cornbread in it. Overall a decent spot! I just wished the scoops were a little bigger. $6.50 for 2 scoops.
